I had heard a lot about HALO SleepSack from friends and family for the past few years, but I just recently had the opportunity to learn more about them for myself.

My experience with HALO Sleepsacks
After reading about HALO SleepSack wearable blankets and hearing about them from friends and family, I was excited to try one out.
I received one in the mail and couldn't wait to get it out and on my little gal.
I got it out and started reading about each of its special features listed on the back of the package. For example, HALO SleepSacks feature an inverted zipper which makes diaper changing a breeze and also helps to prevent baby from unzipping themselves!
The HALO SleepSack was so easy to put on our little squirm-worm! She loved it too!
Aleise's first night in her HALO SleepSack went well. She is a baby who moves around a lot in her sleep so we could see the benefits of the HALO SleepSack right away. No more worries about her getting a blanket stuck on her head or ending up cold because she has kicked it completely off!
Thanks to HALO, we've learned some great safe sleep tips too. I'd love to share them with you and your family.
Safe Sleep Practices
• Place baby to sleep on his or her back at naptime and at night time.
• Use a crib that meets current safety standards with a firm mattress that fits snuggly and is covered with only a tight-fitting crib sheet.
• Remove all soft bedding and toys from your baby’s sleep area (this includes loose blankets, bumpers and positioners). The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests using a wearable blanket instead of loose blankets to keep your baby warm.
• Offer a pacifier when putting baby to sleep. If breastfeeding, introduce pacifier after one month or after breastfeeding has been established.
• Breastfeed, if possible, but when finished, put your baby back to sleep in his or her separate safe sleep area alongside your bed.
• Never put your baby to sleep on any soft surface (adult beds, sofas, chairs, water beds, quilts, sheep skins etc.)
• Never dress your baby too warmly for sleep; keep room temperature 68-72 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Never allow anyone to smoke around your baby or take your baby into a room or car where someone has recently smoked.
Remember that it is important to share these safe sleep practices with any family members or other caregivers who take care of your child too.
There is nothing more important than keeping your child safe and healthy.
I was definitely impressed by the quality of the HALO SleepSack that I received to try. This wearable blanket was made of 100% cotton and is so soft! I love that Aleise likes it too and it keeps her warm and safe.
