My family is full of bike riders and I LOVE it! My husband and my older boys love to take off for a bike ride whenever the weather permits. Unfortunately, my youngest son was left out of the fun and it broke our hearts. Now with the help of his Glide Bike he is on his way to riding like his brothers!

I was thrilled for my son to have the opportunity to try out a Glide Bike.  I visited http://www.glidebikes.com/ and was impressed by the information presented on the design process. You could tell that the inventor, Ed Mondello was serious about creating the perfect balance bike. A disastorus first biking experience set the gears in motion to create a Balance Bike with solid design and durable construction that both parents and children would love!

 As a parent, this impressed me more than I can say! How many times as parents have we thought about the products in our children's lives and how we could improve them? Ed wanted his child to have an enjoyable biking experience with a bike they both would love; when he couldn't find what he was looking for he set out to make one himself!

When the Glide Bike came to our house we couldn't wait to get it out of the box and assembled.

Using the instructions and included tool the bike was fully assembled in 5 minutes!

My husband and I noticed the durable construction of the Mini Glider right away. You could tell that this bike was built tough! I also loved the red paint color, shiny and bright and perfect for both boys and girls. As soon as the bike was put together my son was ready to ride. We grabbed his helmet and headed outside.

He had a blast! I could barely get him to stay still long enough for us to get a few pictures. As soon as he jumped on he was off and running with his new Mini-Glider. This is when I noticed how great the foot rest on the bike is. He got brave enough to start putting his feet up only after about 10 minutes.

Daddy had fun helping him figure things out too! It was so much fun to watch them play and laugh together. Its nice to be able to do an activity that the whole family can enjoy together!

The Wonder Year's Winnie Cooper becomes a Mommy! Congratulations Danica McKellar!

Looking at the top searches today on Yahoo I saw the name Danica McKellar. I knew that name sounded familiar so I decided to see who she was and why this was a popular search today.

Danica McKellar, 35, who played Winnie Cooper on the hit television show The Wonder Years has given birth to her first child! Danica and her husband Mike Verta welcomed their first child, a bouncing baby boy on Tuesday, September 7th. The little guy weighed in at 7lbs 2 ounces, and they have chosen the name Draco meaning "Dragon" for their new addition.

I spent so much time watching Danica as Miss Winnie Cooper when I was a young girl. She was the girl that every boy wanted to be with and every girl wanted to be. I remember sitting down with my family every week to watch The Wonder Years. I loved watching Kevin and Winnie grow up. It was fun to watch their relationship change and blossom.  The whole show was fantastic, relatable storylines with a great soundtrack! The Wonder Years helped build my love for classic music from the late 60s and 70s.

So congratulations to Danica and her husband too as they begin the most exciting, life changing journey...Parenthood. This family's "Wonder Years" have just begun!
