Yubo Lunchbox- Review and Giveaway

It is amazing the amount of waste that can be created by packing lunches for school. Brown bags, sandwich and snack baggies... it really adds up! Luckily, there is a really cool solution that parents and kids can both love...

Where did the idea for these fun, fantastic lunchboxes come from?

In 2007,  while making lunches for their daughters, Cyndi and Paul Pedrazzi were frustrated by the amount of plastic baggies used everyday and the poor quality of the lunchboxes their daughters carried. The everyday lunchboxes they were using were hard to clean and would smell of old food, and their girls would loose interest in their lunchboxes within weeks. This set in motion the creation of Yubo! With the design genius of Dan Harden, President and chief designer of Whipsaw Inc. they re-invented the lunchbox!

I recently had the opportunity to try a yubo lunchbox, and I was more impressed than I could even imagine! When you order your yubo you choose between 3 shell colors. I chose blue as seen in the picture to the right.

You then choose the set of face plates you would like and let me tell you, there are so many adorable designs for both girls and boys of ALL ages! Yubo face plates come in sets of two, one for each side of the lunchbox. The two face plates in each set are different images but coordinate with the each other perfectly. You won't believe the amazing variety of sets of adorable images available for the yubo! Along with their standard faceplate sets, you can also order personalized faceplates as well as photo face plates too! I love that they offer so many great options! 

You can either order a Standard or a Deluxe Yubo.  The Deluxe Yubo comes with a large ice pack, a sandwich holder and 2 small snack holders that all fit perfectly inside the Yubo. The Deluxe Yubo pack is pictured above.

We had the opportunity to try a Deluxe Yubo and I absolutely love it for my youngest son. When I ordered our Yubo, I chose the Dinosaur face plates.  In the picture on the left you can see on the front face plate of the Dinosaur design, and then back face plate is on the right. Cute, huh?

My son absolutely loves carrying around his Yubo with his lunch inside. Since the weather has been beautiful, we have been to the park quite a few time in the last 2 weeks, and the Yubo is perfect for packing his lunch for a picnic.
