Yesterday we had bitter cold temps and precipitation that fell that was a icy snowy consistency! We ended up with somewhere around 2-3 inches accumulation of the white stuff, but the falling snow was the least of the things to worry over! The winds were howling and blowing hard causing the snow to drift. The roads were more than treacherous, it was terrible. The local news even reported that with yesterdays snow fall that central Ohio has broken its old record and this has been the snowiest February in 100 years!
But somehow, my older boys Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet still went on.

The kids had a blast, as always and even had special guests from the Columbus Zoo!

Thankfully, everyone made it home safely. After such an exciting Friday, we are enjoying a quiet day at home today.
