Sometimes I come across a product on the internet that just grabs my interest and I decide that I HAVE to try it. After reading about Scandle Body Massage Candles and visiting their website, I became even more intrigued.

So what exactly is a Scandle?

The Scandle Body Massage Candle is a fragrant hand-poured body massage candle that, when burned, melts to create a healthy body massage oil that can be used to enhance the healthy of your skin. Not only, is The Scandle Body Massage Candle healthy for your skin, but it is also healthy for the environment...emitting less soot and toxins into the environment than parrafin candles.

The Scandle Body Massage Candle is perfect as a body moisturizer, warm body massage oil, or as a soothing Vitamin E rich lotion for manicures and pedicures.

How do you use a Scandle Body Candle?

Simply light the Scandle (we recommend for about 30 minutes or until the candle melts to the container's edge so that the candle will continue to burn evently with every use). Then, extinguish the flame and apply a small amount on to desired area (we recommend a quarter size to start). When done, allow the candle to cool..the liquid will re-congeal to a solid state permitting additional applications.

If you would rather not burn your Scandle, you can also scoop a little out using a spoon and simply rub it directly on your skin!

Along with the candle comes a Silcone band that can be worn as a eco-wristband as a reminder with the words "Reuse, Reduce, Recycle" engraved on it. I couldn't wait to try my Scandle Body Massage Candle. As soon as it came I opened the package and smelled the sweet scent of the Hummingbird fragrance. The Hummingbird fragrance is described as...

The Hummingbird Fragrance was even more amazing than I could have imagined. It is the perfect mixture of florals and fruity goodness. I couldn't wait to light it and try this amazing product on my skin.

When I first used my Scandle candle I lit it and let it burn for about 30 minutes as directed to let the wax melt evenly. The candle burnt evenly and clean. When it came time to apply it to my skin, I first dipped my finger in to feel the temperature of the melted oil. I knew from reading about Scandle candles that they melted at a lower temperature than regular candles, and I was surprised to discover that the melted product was warm and not HOT at all! I blew the candle out as directed and got ready to try it out!

I must admit that I made my husband my guinea pig first. I had him lay on his stomach and poured a bit of the product directly from the tin onto his back. He was surprised by how great it felt. I then rubbed the oil into his skin and he was in heaven! The product easily spread and soaked into his skin as he enjoyed his massage.

Then it was my turn! I loved it every bit as much as my husband did too! I noticed as the product is poured from the tin that the fragrance became more noticable and I loved it! Using the Scandle Candle I had the BEST MASSAGE I have ever received!
