Green to Grow- Glass BPA Free Bottles- Review and Giveaway

Having a new baby, is quite a life changing event. Here is this amazing little person that you've created and you want nothing more than to give them the best of everything and keep them safe and healthy. With so much information on baby products, its important to research. Doing my own research on bottles for Baby, I came across Green to Grow.

Green to Grow was started by parents, who just like the rest of us wanted the best for their child.

Here is a little about how Green to Grow was started...

Green to Grow, in the most fundamental sense, did not start as an idea for a company. It began with our commitment, as parents, to the gathering of information that would allow us to provide the best possible care for our son, to keep him healthy, and to protect him from as many dangers as we could. What we found, and continue to find in our research, is both appalling and inspiring. Appalling because humans have created an astounding array of dangers for ourselves, and especially for our children. Inspiring because there is deep and widespread commitment to addressing these dangers and to promoting healthy alternatives.

Creating a line of bisphenol A free baby bottles was our way of taking direct action where we saw a need. But while addressing a single concern is a positive step, we believe our responsibility cannot end there. In order to address the problems associated with the effects of toxic chemicals on human health and on the environment, we must join together with the larger community of those who are working for a greener and safer world. Not just for our children, though they are certainly the most vulnerable in every sense, but for all of us.

Reading this passage on the Green to Grow website made me curious about their products. Green to Grow makes BPA-free plastic bottles as well as new Glass Bottles, too. I recently had the opportunity to try Green to Grow's new glass bottles.

I had never really considered using glass bottles with my children. But, as my experiences have taught me, using Green to Grow's Glass Bottles is a great and safe choice for your precious little one.
A little about Green to Grow's Glass Baby Bottles, taken from their website...

Our glass baby bottles are a safe, stylish, and sophisticated choice for parents concerned about toxins in plastics. Made in the USA, our glass baby bottles are designed for comfort, with a modern, ergonomic shape. Graduated measurements are embossed into glass in ounces and milliliters.

I love the design of Green to Grow Glass Baby Bottles. The shape of the bottles are pretty similar to any average baby bottle on the market. The Bottles are shaped with a curve so they are easier and more comfortable to hold while you feed your baby. On the front of the bottles you will notice the sophisticated designs in green and blue. I like that Green to Grow chose a design pattern for their bottles that is gender neutral.

Green to Grow's Glass Baby Bottles are sold packs of two, and are available in 4 oz and 8 oz size featuring both of the design patterns. The two pack of 4oz bottles is $14.99, while the 8 oz size sells for  $15.99.  You can purchase these bottles on their website and at better retailers in your community.

So, what has my experience been using the Green to Grow glass baby bottle? Amazing! There really isn't any difference in using a glass bottle than a plastic one... except when it comes to safety. With the Green to Grow glass bottles you don't have to worry that your baby is ingesting or being exposed to harmful chemicals in the plastic such as BPA. The shape of these bottles make them comfortable to hold as you bond with your baby as you feed them. I also love that Green to Grow Bottles are all made in the USA! Green to Grow Glass Baby Bottles are easy to clean and are even dishwasher safe. I would recommend Green to Grow's Glass Baby Bottles to anyone who is trying to choose a bottle for their baby. I've been impressed with Green to Grow's Glass Baby Bottles from my personal experience and also everything that I've read about them. I've named Green to Grow to...

  10. What intrigued me about these products was that the idea was conceived once the creators became parents and realized their responsibility. The wife was a librarian and researched what we as humans had done to make things unsafe in our environment.
