GuideCraft Rocking Pirate Ship Review/Giveaway

I am a mommy who has been blessed with 3 handsome healthy boys. While they can be wild, they are also so much fun! My boys all have such vivid imaginations and it is fun to watch as it comes out in their play. My youngest son is just crazy about everything Pirates. I think it is so cute for a 2 year old to have such an interest in such a subject, and together with his big brothers they have a great time imagining they are sailing the open seas.

Recently I had the opportunity to try some products from Guidecraft and when I saw the Pirate's Collection on their website I felt like a little kid! There was a Rocking Pirate Ship and I could just imagine the fun that my son would have pretending he was sailing, and now he would have an actual ship! I couldn't wait until it arrived!

The Guidecraft Pirate Ship came much sooner than I ever expected. It was delivered by UPS less than a week after ordering it, and luckily while my little Skallywag was napping. I hoped we could get his ship put together before he woke up and present him with this amazing surprise!

 The Pirate Ship came in a HUGE cardboard box. When I saw the size of the box I had plans for it too! We brought it into our living room to get it put together right away. Opening the box everything was securely wrapped up and protected. My husband pulled the body of the ship out and found that the hull was completely assembled! All that was left for us to do was to put the handles on the captains wheel and assemble the rocking mechanism and connect it to the ship. The only tool that we needed was a phillips head screwdriver, and the directions were extremely easy to follow. A few screws and about 10 minutes later and we had the beautiful ship assembled and ready for play!

The paint and detailing on the Pirate Ship is spectacular. It really looks like a minature Pirate's ship ready to set said. From the painted windows to the port holes where the cannons sit ready to fire, the ship is just perfect. With so much detail there are new little things I notice about the ship everyday. They even painted wood attached to the rocking mechanism that looks like the ship is leaving its own little wake as it sails the sea. It is just so cute!

The quality of this Guidecraft Rocking Pirate ship is just amazing. Made with hardwoods and a beautifully detailed paint job, Guidecraft children's furniture is made to last. There is no doubt in my mind that we will someday pass this beautiful pirate ship down to our grandkids. That is saying a lot! Having 3 boys my kids can do a number on just about any toy, but the quality of this ship shows and I know it is made to last. Guidecraft children's furniture is the type of products that you buy for your children and become a family heirloom as it passes from your children to their children one day.

My son is so in love with his Pirate Ship as you can see in these pictures. When he first laid eyes on it, I swear his smile stretched right off his face and his eyes lit up. It was love at first sight! Its all I can do to get him out of his ship to eat and go to bed at night! He sits and plays in his ship for hours a day! My baby is big guy for being only 2 1/2 years old and he will have plenty of time to play with his Rocking Pirate ship before he gets too big. I was impressed by the size of the ship and it made me so happy to know that he still has plenty of room to grow! Even my older boys are in love with the Guidecraft Rocking Pirate ship and want their own larger versions!
